Juan Pablo Di Pace is a multi-talented individual, born in Buenos Aires to painter Marta Maineri and Victorio Di Pace. He is the third son of this artistic family and has lived in various locations including London, Trieste, Madrid, and currently resides in the United States.
As an actor, Di Pace has gained recognition for his roles in several notable productions. He played the iconic role of Jesus Christ in the 2015 series "A.D. The Bible Continues", earning a Grace Award for "Most Inspiring Performance" in 2016. His other notable roles include self-made billionaire Nicolás Treviño in TNT's reboot of "Dallas" (2014),Fernando in Netflix's hit show "Fuller House", and appearances in the movie "Mamma Mia" (2008).
Di Pace has also made a mark on British television, featuring in BBC One's comedy "The Catherine Tate Show" and film "Aftersun". In Spanish television, he has appeared in shows such as "Supercharly", "Angel o Demonio", "Los Hombres de Paco", "El Don de Alba", and "Física o Química". On film, he has starred in "Survival Island" (2004),"Tutti Intorno a Linda" (2006),"Fuera de foco" (2011),and "After The Reality" (2016).
Before transitioning to the big screen, Di Pace had a successful stage career, appearing in the Bob Fosse's London musical "Chicago" and playing leading roles in productions such as "Grease" (Italy, 1999),"Saturday Night Fever" (Madrid, 2009-2010),"Más de 100 Mentiras" (Madrid, 2012),and "Primer Acto/Act One" (Madrid, 2012-2013).
In 2017, Di Pace wrote a solo show for New York's Studio 54 Below and has performed with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, paying tribute to the music of George Michael. As a director, he has written and directed several short films, including "La Belleza", "Venki", and "Admission", and is currently developing two feature films, "New Boy" and "The Last Light".
