Karan Choudhary, a native of Faridabad, India, embarked on an exciting new chapter in his life when he relocated to New York in 2013 to pursue his passion for acting. He subsequently graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, a renowned institution that has fostered the growth of numerous talented individuals in the entertainment industry.
Following his graduation, Choudhary dedicated himself to actively pursuing a career in both acting and filmmaking. His entrepreneurial spirit and determination to create opportunities for himself and fellow artists led him to begin making his own films in 2017.
Choudhary's debut film, a short documentary titled "Dedication", garnered significant attention and acclaim at various global film festivals. The film received a total of four nominations and two prestigious awards for Best Short Documentary and Best Message.
In 2018, he released his second short film, a comedy called "New York'd", which met with an overwhelmingly positive response. The film was accepted into over twenty-five film festivals, earning eight nominations and five awards in various categories.
Choudhary's third short film, "The Timepiece", was released in 2019 and continued his streak of success. The film was accepted into more than three dozen film festivals and received over a dozen awards and nominations across various categories.
Most recently, Choudhary has been working on his latest film, "Swiped Out", which he wrote and directed. The film is set to be released in late 2020, and fans of Choudhary's work are eagerly anticipating its premiere.
