Keith Robinson, a talented individual, was born in the state of Kentucky and spent his formative years in Greenville, South Carolina. His family eventually relocated to Augusta, where he attended and graduated from Lakeside High School. Following his high school education, Robinson pursued higher learning at the University of Georgia, where he signed a recording contract with Motown Records during his time there. Although the label never released any of his music, this experience laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.
Robinson's career in the entertainment industry took off when he landed a starring role as Joel Rawlings, the Green Ranger, in the popular television series Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. He also made guest appearances in several other notable shows, including ER in 1994, American Dreams in 2002, Monk in 2002, Half & Half in 2002, and Over There in 2005.
Robinson's breakthrough role came when he played C.C. White in the 2006 film Dreamgirls, which featured a rendition of the song "Family" led by Robinson. This performance catapulted him to greater recognition, leading to a string of successful projects. Some of his notable works include Comanche Moon, which is currently in post-production, This Christmas, which is in the midst of filming, The Apostles, which is in pre-production, and Caught on Tape, which is in production.
