Kellan Lutz, a multifaceted individual, was born in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Karla (Theesfeld) and Bradley Lutz, his parents. He hails from a family of eight siblings, comprising six brothers and a sister, with a rich heritage of German, English, Swedish, and Dutch descent.
As a child, Lutz's family was constantly on the move, and he grew up in various regions, including North Dakota, the Midwest, and Arizona. Following his high school graduation, Lutz made the bold decision to relocate to California, where he enrolled in Chapman University to study Chemical Engineering. However, his academic pursuits were short-lived, as he eventually chose to pursue a career in acting.
Before making the transition to acting, Lutz had already gained some experience in modeling during his teenage years. His early foray into the entertainment industry was marked by a small role in the popular television series, The Bold and the Beautiful, in 2004. This breakthrough led to further television success, with appearances in The Comeback (2005) and Generation Kill (2008).
Lutz's film career also gained momentum, with notable roles in Accepted (2006) and Prom Night (2008). However, his most significant career milestone arrived in 2008, when he landed the role of Emmett Cullen, a vampire, in the blockbuster film Twilight, and its subsequent sequels.
