Kevin Janssens, born in 1979, pursued his education at the Studio Herman Teirlinck in Antwerp, where he landed his first significant role in the final year of his studies.
Guido Henderickx entrusted Janssens with the leading role in the mini TV series "KING OF THE WORLD", a character that marked the beginning of his successful career in Belgium.
Throughout his early years in the industry, Janssens appeared in various prominent roles, including the popular TV series "WINDKRACHT : KOKSIJDE RESCUE" and the crime series "MISSING".
He further solidified his position in the Belgian acting scene with performances in Jan Verheyen's romantic comedy "ZOT VAN A." and Hilde Van Mieghem's "MAD ABOUT YOU".
However, it was his appearance in Robin Pront's "THE ARDENNES", a production by Oscar-nominated producer Bart Van Langendonck for Savage Film, that catapulted his career to new heights.
The film received numerous festival selections, including the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival, and Janssens' performance received widespread recognition.
Since then, he has been seen in the French-Belgian production "ABOVE THE LAW" by François Troukens, alongside Olivier Gourmet, Bouli Lanners, and Lubna Azabel, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
Janssens also appeared in Coralie Fargeat's "REVENGE", starring Mathilda Lutz, which is set to be showcased at the Sundance Film Festival.
Recent projects include the Dutch film "CATACOMBE" by Victor D. Ponten, where he played the leading role, and the Belgian TV series "OPEN WATER" by Tom Lenaerts, also featuring Janssens in the leading role.
In addition, Janssens has a small part in Guillaume Nicloux's French film "Les Confins Du Monde", alongside the renowned actor Gérard Depardieu.
