Kieron Moore's journey to success has been a unique and winding path, marked by a deep passion for poetry and a willingness to explore multiple creative outlets. As a poet, he found solace in verse at the tender age of 10, comparing it to breathing - a fundamental aspect of his existence.
Before discovering his true calling as an actor, Kieron spent 12 years as a competitive boxer, using poetry as an emotional outlet and a way to maintain a spiritual balance amidst the physical demands of the sport. As he transitioned to acting, he began modeling, seeing it as a stepping stone to further hone his craft.
Kieron's acting career kicked off with a 17-minute short film, "Birthday Girl," which premiered at several global film festivals and earned director-writer Portia A. Buckley numerous awards. He followed this success with a role in the award-nominated short "Cold Blow Lane," directed by Luca Homolka.
Since then, Kieron has appeared in a range of notable projects, including Masters of the Air (Apple TV+/Amblin Television),Vampire Academy (Peacock),The Sandman (Netflix/DC Comics),and Sex Education (Netflix). On May 18th, his latest series, Code of Silence, aired on ITV/Britbox, with Kieron starring alongside Rose Ayling-Ellis. The press is currently focusing on Kieron as a key player, and he will soon appear in the Netflix series Boots.
Kieron's first feature film, Blue Film, is currently making its way through the festival circuit, with a future release date yet to be announced. As a poet, he has found that acting provides him with a deeper understanding of his emotions and a greater appreciation for the art of writing, regardless of the medium.
A lover of language, Kieron is inspired by his favorite writers, including French playwright Jean-Paul Sartre, English metaphysical poet John Donne, and French-Cuban-American novelist Anaïs Nin. While he has kept his poetry private for most of his life, Kieron has recently begun sharing his work publicly and plans to publish a book of his verse in the future.
In addition to his creative pursuits, Kieron is also an avid photographer, using his camera to capture time and make moments tangible. He sees photography as a way to process his experiences and is perpetually grateful for the life he leads.
