Kris Siddiqi, a multifaceted individual, hails from the vibrant city of Toronto, where his passion for comedy, acting, and writing took root.
Throughout his illustrious career, Kris has received numerous accolades, including the 2015 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Improviser and the 2014 "Best Of" Now Magazine Awards.
With a strong foundation in sketch and improvisation, Kris trained with the renowned Second City, joining the Mainstage cast in 2009 and co-writing three revues with the esteemed troupe.
His impressive list of voice acting credits includes principal roles in cartoons such as Let's Go Luna, Totally Spies!, and My Little Pony, as well as becoming the Network Voice of Country Music Television. He has also become a series regular on the CBC's Comedy Panel Show, Because News.
On stage, Kris has showcased his versatility, playing a RCMP investigator in Dink!, a Clown in The Toronto Circus Riot, and starring in the children's musical Maravilla. He has also created, written, and directed numerous children's shows for audiences of all ages.
Kris has also hosted a gala for the 2021 Winnipeg Comedy Festival and performed stand-up, sketch, and improv across North America.
His most recent creation, the multi-award-winning miniseries Bit Playas, has garnered widespread recognition, winning two Canadian Screen Awards for Best Writing and Best Series, as well as awards for Best Representation of Communities Of Color from the Minnesota WebFest 2020, Best Actor in the Toronto WebFest awards, and multiple other accolades from festivals worldwide.
Kris' recent film and television credits include Family Channel's I Woke Up a Vampire, HBOMax's Titan, Aaron Sorkin's Molly's Game, Amazon's The Boys, AppleTV's Improbable Valentine, and a recurring role on IFC/CBC's Baroness Von Sketch Show.
In addition to his impressive entertainment career, Kris is also the sound editor, sound designer, and main character for his fantasy radio-drama Dwarven Moss, which recently won the Best Leisure Podcast award from the Canadian Podcast Awards.
