Kristian Ventura is a classically trained actor who graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. Following his graduation, he sparked a signing war among top agencies in the industry, with many competing to sign him.
Ventura's impressive theatre credits include playing the role of Richard III and various plays by Tennessee Williams and Russian playwrights. Within a year of graduating, he landed five roles, including a recurring part in the Hulu series Reboot, created by Steven Levitan, and a scene-stealing performance in The Rookie: Feds.
His trajectory continued to darken as he accepted supporting parts in the Hulu horror film Grimcutty and the HBO Max science-fiction thriller Gray Matter. His breakout role came when he starred in School Spirits, a Paramount+ series, as Simon Elroy, a character who grieves and investigates the death of his best friend, portrayed by Peyton List.
Ventura's remarkable skill for character work makes him nearly unrecognizable in the roles he takes. His director, Oran Zegman, praised him, saying, "He is a dream for any director." EP/Showrunner Oliver Goldstick added, "His first audition blew us away. He inspired us." Director Brian Dannelly wrote, "He's such an exciting actor. Ventura's choices are bold and thoughtful, and he has that rare ability to access emotions in the moment while interacting with another actor. I mean, it's just a gift that a lot of actors don't have."
Ventura's skillset is extensive, including piano, guitar, foreign languages, ballet, motorcycling, skateboarding, and fight combat. He is represented by John Alcaraz at Arise Artists Agency and managed by Untitled Entertainment.
