Kyan Zielinski, a 20-year-old individual with a unique blend of Canadian-American heritage, was born on December 12, 2004, in the vibrant city of Seattle, Washington. Growing up, he shared a loving household in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his younger sister Mikayla, and parents Tobi and Christie.
From a tender age, Kyan has been enamored with the art of performance and storytelling. His creative inclinations flourished as he matured, leading him to write, cast, direct, and produce plays for his elementary school over the course of three consecutive years. This early exposure to the world of theatre and storytelling kindled a passion within Kyan that would continue to burn brightly throughout his life.
At the tender age of nine, Kyan made his professional debut in a musical production at the renowned 5th Avenue Theatre in Downtown Seattle. This marked the beginning of a fruitful journey in the entertainment industry, during which he worked on various musicals, commercials, and modeling projects. His breakout role came at the age of eleven, when he landed his first lead role in a short film. This experience sparked a newfound appreciation for film and television, and Kyan went on to appear in two independent feature films.
Kyan's big break came when he was cast as Liam McKenna in the Amazon Prime Original Series, The Dangerous Book for Boys, in which he played a series regular. He had the privilege of working alongside the show's talented co-creator team, including the acclaimed Bryan Cranston and Greg Mottola. Following this project, Kyan appeared on the Disney+ series Diary of a Future President, led by the talented Gina Rodriguez.
Throughout his journey, Kyan has developed a deep respect for the film and television industry, and he aspires to one day become a film director. In May 2021, he successfully passed the CHSPE (California High School Proficiency Exam),allowing him to work legally as an 18-year-old.
When not pursuing his passion for acting or working towards his directorial aspirations, Kyan enjoys spending time with his loved ones, indulging in photography and videography, vlogging on his YouTube Channel (Kyan Zielinski Vlogs),watching movies, playing video games, and traveling.
