Kyle McCarley's childhood was marked by a sense of restlessness, as he grew up in Kansas but didn't quite feel at home. This feeling of displacement ultimately led him to make the bold decision to leave his hometown behind and relocate to Los Angeles at the tender age of 18.
Kyle's Pursuit of Acting
With a newfound sense of independence, Kyle enrolled in the University of Southern California to study acting. It was during this time that he discovered a passion for playing World of Warcraft with his friends, which eventually led to him co-writing, co-directing, and voicing several characters in a fan-made online radio play.

Upon completing his Theatre degree, Kyle decided to pursue his passion for voice acting as a career. This decision marked a significant turning point in his life, as he began to explore the vast world of voice acting and the numerous opportunities it presented.
Kyle's Introduction to Anime
Kyle's fascination with anime began when he was younger, watching Cartoon Network's Toonami and being introduced to the world of Gundam Wing, which became his all-time favorite series. However, it was a workshop with Mami Okada from Bang Zoom that truly ignited his passion for anime. Mami's guidance and mentorship not only helped him refine his skills but also led to him being cast in several projects.
The Breakthrough: Iron-Blooded Orphans
When Kyle received the opportunity to audition for Iron-Blooded Orphans, he was ecstatic. Being cast as Mikazuki, the lead role in the newest Gundam series, was a dream come true. This breakthrough moment marked a significant milestone in his career, as it solidified his position as a talented voice actor in the anime industry.
