Biography

Lance Krall's early life was marked by a sense of adventure and exploration, as his father, John Krall, was a Naval aviator and his mother, Yung Krall, worked as a spy for the CIA and FBI. As a result, Krall spent most of his childhood moving from country to country, state to state, never staying in one place for too long. After his parents retired, the family finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Krall would go on to build a successful career in the entertainment industry.

Krall's educational background is in Film and Theater, which he studied at Georgia State University. He went on to help found The Whole World Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, where he honed his acting and comedy skills by performing in and directing hundreds of improv shows and scripted plays. During his eight-year run with the theatre company, Krall was spotted by an International Creative Management talent agent and was signed shortly thereafter.

In 1999, Krall made the decision to leave The Whole World Theatre and move to Los Angeles, where he was quickly cast as a series regular on Steve Martin's variety show, "The Downer Channel," for NBC. Although the show only lasted for four episodes, Krall used the experience as an opportunity to experiment with his own sketch comedy show. With the help of his old troupe from Atlanta, Krall shot a thirty-minute pilot, which he titled "The Lance Krall Show." Satisfied with the result, Krall shelved the pilot, waiting for the right opportunity to showcase it.

In the meantime, Krall was cast in the feature film "Made Up," directed by Tony Shalhoub, and later directed and starred in "Party Animals," a short film about a group of Hollywood wannabes that was an official selection in the Slamdance Film Festival. Krall's popularity on the reality show "The Joe Schmo Show" in 2003 gave him the platform he needed to present his homemade pilot to enthusiastic executives at Spike TV, who quickly green-lit "The Lance Krall Show."

Today, Krall is managed by Rory Rosegarten of The Conversation Company, LTD, and continues to work in the entertainment industry, bringing his unique blend of humor and creativity to a wide range of projects.
