Leighton Alexander Williams is a multifaceted artist, distinguished by his exceptional talent as an actor, writer, and director. His academic background is marked by a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University's esteemed acting conservatory, which he completed in 2015.
Following his departure from theatre school, Leighton has had the privilege of performing on numerous prominent stages across Canada and the United States. His breakout role as "Satan" in the play "Judas Noir" garnered him a Dora Mavor Moore nomination, along with numerous other accolades and widespread critical acclaim in Toronto.
As the pandemic unfolded, Leighton made a strategic career transition to the realm of film and television. He honed his craft at the prestigious Canadian Film Center, where he also graduated from the CBC Actors Conservatory. Subsequently, Leighton has appeared in a wide range of acclaimed series and feature films.
One of his notable short films, "Queenie & Alpha", received a warm reception during its debut at the TIFF BellLightbox, ultimately leading to him being offered his first series regular role as Jarod in "Settle Down".
