Lim Yu-Beng is a highly accomplished individual in the Singaporean entertainment industry, boasting a diverse range of accomplishments that span across stage and screen.
As a thespian, Yu-Beng has won numerous awards and nominations for his outstanding performances. He took home the Best Actor award in 2005, Best Supporting Actor in 2004, and Best Acting Ensemble in 2002 at the Life! Theatre Awards, Singapore. Furthermore, he was nominated for Best Actor in 2005 at the Asian Television Awards and Best Supporting Actor in 2023 at Pesta Perdana, the Malay language television awards.
Yu-Beng has also made a mark in the film industry, starring in lead roles in acclaimed Singaporean films such as "Singapore Dreaming" and "Solos", as well as internationally in "Kung Fu Killers" and "The Great Wall" (2008). He has also appeared in supporting roles in numerous international films, including "Rebel Moon", "Anna and the King", and "HBO Asia's Grace".
On the small screen, Yu-Beng has played leads in various Singapore television shows, including "Identiti", "Sephia", "Firasat", "Do Not Disturb", "9 Lives", "The Second Singapore Short Story Project", "The New Home", and all four seasons of the hit series "Triple 9".
