Lindsay Heather Pearce is an American actress and singer born on April 30, 1991. She gained recognition after being a runner-up on The Glee Project, a singing/acting reality show, which led to a guest starring role on the TV show Glee.
Pearce was born in Modesto, California, and is an adopted child. She has been involved in amateur shows since the age of 13 and has been deaf for the first six months of her life, which she believes helped her develop her ear for music. She is the daughter of Carol Pearce née Clark and the sister of former professional soccer player Heath Pearce.
In 2011, Pearce auditioned for The Glee Project and became known as "the theater girl" due to her intense performances. Although she did not win the competition, she and the other runner-up, Alex Newell, each received a two-episode arc on Glee.
On Glee, Pearce played the role of Harmony, an ambitious and talented singer, in the third-season premiere. Her debut was widely acclaimed by critics, who praised her performance and voice. She appeared in two episodes of the show, singing "Anything Goes" / "Anything You Can Do" and "Buenos Aires".
Pearce has also appeared in various other projects, including an episode of "Drop Dead Diva" on Lifetime channel, where she played a TV star trying to cover up a topless photo of her going public. She has also starred in several musical productions, including A Snow White Christmas, The Last Five Years, Spring Awakening, and Bare.
In addition to her stage work, Pearce has appeared in the For the Record series and has been cast in the immersive production of American Idiot, playing the role of Whatshername.
