Mackenzie Frances Ziegler was born on June 4, 2004, in the city of Pittsburgh, located in the state of Pennsylvania. Her mother, Melissa, made the decision to enroll Mackenzie and her older sister, Maddie Ziegler, in the Abby Lee Dance Company, a renowned dance studio. Little did they know at the time, this studio would eventually gain widespread fame, and the trio would go on to star in a highly successful reality television series on the Lifetime network.
As the youngest member of the ALDC Jr. Elite Competition team, Mackenzie has consistently demonstrated her exceptional dancing skills. In addition to her passion for dance, Mackenzie also has a strong affinity for music and singing. On April 26, 2014, she released her debut album, titled 'MackZ', which quickly rose to the top of the iTunes pop chart list, reaching the number one position, and also climbed to the seventh spot on the overall album charts.
The music video for her single 'It's a Girl Party' achieved tremendous success, reaching the number one position in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. When Mackenzie is not busy dancing or recording music, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and engaging in activities with her friends, as well as playing with her dog, Maliboo.
