Marcos Gonzalez, a talented individual born in the Dominican Republic, made his way to the United States on his 10th birthday, marking the beginning of his journey in a new land. As he grew up in Spanish Harlem, New York City, he was deeply immersed in the vibrant Hispanic culture and lifestyle that surrounded him.
From a young age, Marcos demonstrated a passion for the performing arts, initially exploring his creative side through acting in school plays. However, his true calling lay in music, which he discovered through his family's rich musical heritage. Following in the footsteps of one of his older brothers, Marcos learned to play percussion instruments, an experience that would later influence his collaborations with Latin bands.
As he continued to develop his musical talents, Marcos discovered a new passion for the guitar, which enabled him to express himself through songwriting. Despite his primary focus on soft rock, he was driven by a powerful force that allowed him to create emotive ballads, fueled by the overwhelming emotion of love. This creative force haunted him, manifesting as melodies that refused to be silenced until he brought them to life through lyrics and storytelling.
In 2010, Marcos rekindled his passion for acting, this time focusing on film and television. He joined the SAG-AFTRA union and went on to play roles in notable movies such as "The Wolf of Wall Street," "About Ray," "Goodtimes," and most recently, "Daddio." He has also made appearances on popular television shows like "Blue Bloods" and "The Good Wife," showcasing his versatility and ability to perform in both Spanish and English.
