Mark Anthony, an American filmmaker, was born on October 16th in New York. He began his journey in the world of acting at a tender age of 7, starring in his first stage play, a kindergarten production of "Romeo and Juliet" at the Milestone School in Mount Vernon, NY.
A picture from the performance was even featured in the local newspaper in Mount Vernon, further igniting his passion for acting. As a teenager, Mark decided to take a temporary hiatus from acting to focus on sports at his various schools.
After completing high school, Mark attended Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY, where he received a Theater Scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Theater/Communications, during which he starred in four theater productions, including a portrayal of African American theater pioneer James Hewlett in "The African Company Presents: King Richard the Third", "Antigone", and "No Exit".
In 2008, Mark made his Off-Broadway debut in the production "Finding Home" at the New Perspectives Theater in Manhattan. Currently, Mark resides in Los Angeles, California, where he continues to hone his craft by taking on various film and theater roles.
