Born in the vibrant city of London to loving Jamaican parents, who later relocated to Kingston, Jamaica when he was just five years old. He spent the next five years of his childhood surrounded by his maternal grandparents, immersing himself in the rich cultural heritage of Jamaica.
As he grew older, he made the move to the Bronx, New York, where he would spend the majority of his formative years. It was during this time that he discovered his passion for the performing arts, making his stage debut at the tender age of 12 in a play at P. S. 41.
His academic pursuits took him to the University of New York at Albany, where he was an active member of the esteemed Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. His time at university also saw him take on the role of musician Charlie Parker in a college production of "A Bird Flies In A Guilded Cage", directed by the talented D. B. Woodside.
In 2001, his dedication to his craft earned him a nomination for the prestigious N.A.A.C.P. Theater Award for Best Supporting Actor in Jeffery's Plan. Over the next two decades, he would go on to spend over 20 years working as a Child Care Counselor in various group homes and rehab centers across New York and Los Angeles, utilizing his empathetic nature to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
In a recent development, he proudly achieved the milestone of becoming a U.S. citizen in December 2022, marking a significant chapter in his personal and professional journey.
