Mark Atteberry, a talented individual, hails from the quaint town of Sebastopol, California. His mother was employed by the local newspaper, while his father worked as a skilled mechanic. Mark's creative pursuits began with music, as he took up the trombone and keyboard, before transitioning to acting.
He received guidance from renowned instructors, including Roy London, Ivana Chubbuck, Larry Moss, and Vladimir Ilyin of the Moscow Art Theatre, to hone his acting skills. Mark's professional acting career commenced with commercials and theatre, garnering widespread acclaim for his performances in Sam Shepard's Angel City and David Lindsay-Abaire's Rabbit Hole in Los Angeles.
His impressive television credits include notable roles in 24, Dexter, Criminal Minds, The Newsroom, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Grace & Frankie, This Is Us, American Horror Story, NCIS, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Offer, Dahmer, and Yellowstone. Mark's feature film work spans blockbuster hits like David Fincher's Gone Girl and Ang Lee's The Hulk, as well as critically acclaimed indies like Miranda July's The Future and the multi-award-winning Butterfly Circus.
Beyond his acting career, Mark is an avid photographer and was honored by the Photography for Social Change Foundation in 2010 as one of the "Top 100 Documentary-Style Photographers." He regularly lectures on topics such as Image and Type and Acting in LA and has co-authored several books, including "The Working Actor's Guide to LA" and "The Stunt Guide." Mark is the founder of Be A Working Actor Studios in Los Angeles.
