Mark Damon Espinoza's remarkable breakout role as 'Jesse Vasquez', the boyfriend of Andrea Zuckerman on the highly acclaimed television series Beverly Hills 90210, swiftly cemented his status as a fan favorite at a time when LatinX actors were scarce in prime time television. This pivotal moment in his career marked the beginning of a long and storied journey in the entertainment industry.
Following his stint on Beverly Hills 90210, Mark went on to play the role of 'Carlos', the boyfriend of airhead Kelly, in the hit television series Married With Children. This role further solidified his reputation as a talented and versatile actor.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mark has appeared in numerous films, theatrical productions, and hundreds of hours of television on notable shows such as Criminal Minds, Mayans M.C., American Horror Story, and Scandal. His impressive range has allowed him to take on a wide variety of roles, from blood-sucking priests to kind-hearted cops.
Prior to pursuing a career in acting, Mark graduated from college with a degree in Marketing/Economics. He then spent two years in the corporate world before deciding to make a change. He relocated to New York, where he enrolled at the prestigious Circle in the Square Theatre School and was awarded a scholarship for music performance.
Mark's regional theatre work eventually brought him to the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, marking the beginning of his love affair with California. He has also performed at The Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Berkley Rep in Northern California, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, Portland Center Stage, Missouri Rep, and a host of other esteemed theatres.
In addition to his work in theatre, Mark has also performed cabaret in Germany at The International Theatre of Frankfurt and the Frankfurt Opera House. When not shooting on location, he is known to break out in song in various Irish Pubs in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.
Today, Mark makes his home in Los Angeles, where he is a proud 'Girl Dad' to three amazing young women and a 'Dog Daddy' to three rescues.
