Matt Thompson is a multifaceted television professional, with a career spanning decades, and boasting an impressive repertoire of credits in production, writing, direction, and occasional voice acting.
Thompson's creative journey began in the early 1990s, when he collaborated with his long-time partner Adam Reed at Cartoon Network. The duo took on a variety of tasks before conjuring up their own show, High Noon Toons. This innovative 3-hour programming block featured a collection of cartoons, hosted by cowboy hand puppets Haas and Lil' Jo, a nod to the classic TV series Bonanza.
Thompson and Reed's subsequent work on Adult Swim television shows cemented their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the industry. Their notable projects include Sealab 2021, which premiered in 2000, and the follow-up series Frisky Dingo, launched in 2006.
In 2009, Thompson and Reed co-founded Floyd County Productions, with the goal of producing Reed's new project, the FX Network series Archer.
