Matthew Campbell's journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of six, when his parents enrolled him in a production of "A Christmas Carol" at the Sacramento Playhouse to help him overcome his shyness and become more outgoing.
He took to the stage, playing the iconic role of "Tiny Tim", and the strategy proved to be incredibly effective, as he quickly became more confident and outgoing.
From that point on, Matthew continued to work consistently in theatre productions until he was 15, when he decided to pursue other interests and try his hand at sports.
He excelled in football, basketball, and track, winning state championships in both sports and earning all-state honors in track and field.
However, his passion for the arts never truly wavered, and he eventually made the transition to film and television.
Most recently, Matthew has booked roles in "The Magic Stone" as a homeless street kid named Ryan, and "The Owl In Echo Park" as a frat boy named Matty, alongside Kevin Gage.
He is also set to co-star in the college comedy "Sinister City", which he wrote himself, as well as the horror thriller "CrossFyre: The chronicles of Gabriel".
Furthermore, Matthew has penned the supernatural pilot "Dax Baxter: Demon Hunter" and the sci-fi thriller "Groom Lake", both of which he will star in and produce.
