Morgan Kibby, a multifaceted artist, began her musical journey as a classical pianist, cellist, and vocalist, performing solo with orchestras and singing with the San Francisco Opera, jazz ensembles, and musical theater throughout her youth.
Following her graduation from the Lycée Français, Kibby became a core member of the French band M83, contributing to the writing, singing, and live performances that took her across the globe. Two album cycles culminated in her first platinum single with "Midnight City," a Grammy nomination, headlining a sold-out Hollywood Bowl show, and touring internationally with notable acts such as Depeche Mode, The Killers, and Kings of Leon.
Kibby has also co-written and produced on multiple Grammy-nominated and number one albums, including Panic! at the Disco, Harry Styles, and Lady Gaga. Under the moniker White Sea & Sue Clayton, she has produced, written, and recorded solo material. Moreover, she has remixed tracks from renowned artists such as Lorde and The Weeknd.
In addition to her work in music, Kibby ventured into film scoring, premiering her first score for Eva Husson's "Bang Gang" in 2015 at the Platform competition at TIFF, which received critical acclaim. The score later won the Best Original Score award at the Les Arcs European Film Festival. Subsequently, Kibby attended the 2016 Sundance Composer Lab and has since scored projects for Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, AMC, The BBC, and the CW, as well as narrative features that premiered at festivals, including the official competition at Cannes.
