Nicholas Coombe, a fresh face in the entertainment industry, has swiftly become a notable figure in the world of acting, making a name for himself with his impressive performances in various projects.
He first gained recognition for his role as Josh Herbert in the 2020 series "The Wilds", where he played a talkative and hypochondriacal teenager who finds himself stranded on a mysterious island along with a group of boys facing similar perilous circumstances.
Coombe also showcased his versatility by taking on the role of Owen in the comedy film "1UP", released by Lionsgate and BuzzFeed, alongside Ruby Rose, Paris Berelc, and Taylor Zakhar-Perez. The film follows Valerie, played by Berelc, as she quits her college esports team and embarks on a journey to assemble a new varsity-caliber team to save her scholarship, with Coombe delivering an impressive performance as Owen.
Born in Kyneton, Australia, but raised in Perth, Western Australia, Coombe discovered his passion for performing at a young age. By the time he was six, he was already enrolled in tap, jazz, and ballet lessons, and by nine, he had transitioned to musical theater and fallen deeply in love with it.
Coombe went on to sign with an agent in Perth and began doing commercial work and student projects, before making the big move to Vancouver, Canada. While in Vancouver, he continued to hone his craft and landed a lead role in "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" opposite Isabela Merced, Eva Longoria, and Michael Pena, as well as a series regular role on ABC's "Imaginary Mary" opposite Jenna Elfman.
In addition to his acting credits, Coombe has also made a name for himself as the lead vocalist and guitarist of his band "The Beanie Kids", alongside Avery O'Brien (bass, vocals) and Jamison Ko (drums). When not on set, Coombe can be found in the studio creating new music with his band.
Currently residing in Vancouver, Coombe has already made a significant impact in the entertainment industry, and fans are eagerly awaiting his next project.
