Nick Cody's comedy style is characterized by its easy-going nature, consistently selling out shows and achieving great success globally, while also becoming a regular fixture on TV and radio in Australia.
With a solid fan base of devoted followers at home and abroad, Cody has sold out shows and received rave reviews not only at Australian comedy festivals, but also at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Soho Theatre in London. He has also performed at the invite-only Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Johannesburg Comedy Festival.
In addition to his televised stand-up special "What Of It?" on the ABC, Nick has accumulated a range of Australian and international TV credits as a stand-up comedian, panelist, and actor. His credits include appearances on Conan, the Melbourne Comedy Festival OXFAM Gala, the Opening Night Allstars Gala, Comedy Up Late, and Just For Laughs, as well as roles on Please Like Me, Kinne, and The Wizards Of Aus.
His feature film debut is set to take place this year in the Australian movie "The Merger".
Nick's popularity abroad increased after his US television debut on Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show, making him one of only four Australians to do so. He also became one of a select group of Aussies to be invited to perform stand-up on the US television network, Comedy Central.
Cody was invited by the Australian Defence Force to perform for the troops overseas, which he thoroughly enjoyed. He has made numerous trips to Afghanistan and the UAE, and even performed onboard the HMAS Melbourne while it was at sea.
Nick recently became the face of Carlton Dry, serving as the brand's Ambassador and appearing in many commercials. He was also featured in their massive State of Origin ad campaign.
In the world of podcasts, Nick has recently launched "Crushin' it with Nick Cody", which is gaining listeners with each new episode. Prior to this, he spent four years co-hosting the "Something for the drive home" podcast with fellow comedian Bart Freebairn, which TimeOut magazine described as "pleasingly bite-sized slabs of rough-as-guts insanity".
Whether you see him perform live, catch him on TV, or tune in to one of his many radio shows or podcasts, a night with Nick Cody is a night with a mate - so get on board.
