She pursued her passion for acting at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, graduating in 1992 under the guidance of Professor Stefan Danailov.
Throughout her illustrious career, Djukelova has showcased her exceptional talent on various stages, including the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov", Satire Theater "Aleko Konstantinov", Municipal Theater "Renaissance", and Bulgarian Army's Theater.
Her impressive repertoire includes powerful roles in productions such as "Forever... and another day" by Milorad Pavic, "Skin and Sky" by Dimitur Dinev, "Elder son" by Alexander Vampilov, and "Running strangers" by Alexei Kazantseva.
Djukelova has also made a name for herself in Bulgarian feature films, with notable roles in "Mayor, Mayor" (1989),"Arrhythmia" (1992),"Canaries Season" (1993),"Sulamit" (1997),"The Asistant" (2002),"Emigrants" (2002),"Burning" (2004),and "Women's Time" (2007).
Her impressive body of work has earned her two Golden Rose awards for Best Actress, in 1994 for her portrayal of Lily in "Canaries Season" and in 2004 for her role in "Burning".
