In a seemingly innocuous decision, the registrar added an extra "s" to the family name, forever changing the Daniels' surname. This unexpected twist had far-reaching consequences, as Paul's grandparents had high aspirations for his father, hence bestowing upon him the name Handel, symbolizing a deep passion for music, and Newton, representing a strong foundation in science.
