Paul S. Tracey is a multifaceted American actor and filmmaker, currently residing in Lisbon, Portugal. He has garnered international recognition for his roles in notable productions such as the acclaimed series The Head, where he played Zach Dubois in Season 2, and the feature film Air Force One Down, in which he portrayed Mark Miller.
In addition to his acting work, Paul has also had the privilege of performing in the contemporary theatre play Nothing at Galeria Zé de Bois in Lisbon, which was expertly directed by the renowned filmmaker Craig Viveiros.
As his upcoming projects, Paul will be taking on supporting roles in the television series Turn of the Tide (Netflix),Finisterra (RTP, Portugal),and Foundation Season 3 (Apple TV).
Paul's early life was marked by a nomadic upbringing, with his family moving between Reno, NV, and Lake Tahoe in California. This transient lifestyle ultimately led him to relocate to Rome, Italy, where he attended John Cabot University and earned his B.A. in Business Administration.
Following his graduation, Paul made the transition to San Francisco, where he began working in film production. It was during this period that he was scouted by a talent agent and subsequently started working professionally as an actor in film, television, and commercials.
Throughout his career, Paul has made a concerted effort to continually hone his craft, undertaking extensive training at esteemed acting schools such as The American Conservatory Theatre, Stella Adler Academy, and Playhouse West. His training has covered a range of techniques, including scene study, speech, voice, movement, and improvisation.
Beyond his work as an actor, Paul has also demonstrated his versatility by writing, producing, and directing several short films. Moreover, he is the founder and curator of the filmmaking community in Portugal, O Quadro Lisboa, which aims to promote filmmaking in Portugal by discovering, connecting, and inspiring local talent.
