Peter was born in Arcadia, California, but his formative years were spent in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, where he spent eight years honing his craft in various professional theaters, including the renowned Dudley Riggs Brave New Workshop, where he worked as a company member, writer, and improviser. During this time, he amassed an impressive portfolio of work, including dozens of on-camera and voice-over commercials, as well as roles in several Hollywood-produced films, such as Drop Dead Fred, Jingle All the Way, and The Stranger Within, which starred the iconic Kate Jackson, also known as the "smart Angel".
In 1996, Peter made the move to Los Angeles, where he has since worked on over a hundred productions across television, film, commercials, and voice-over, with recent credits including Why Women Kill, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Boy Genius, and Lt. Ben Schmidt in the critically acclaimed Fargo series. In addition to his extensive screen work, Peter has continued to thrive on the stage, acting in award-winning productions in Los Angeles and touring nationally and internationally, including a run in Dublin, Ireland, with the long-running hit show Triple Espresso.
Peter has also ventured into production, helming the hit show Almost, Maine at the Hudson, and has been a fixture in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles, where he resides with his wife and son. Peter's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Gustavus Adolphus College, where he penned an esoteric thesis on Process Theodicy, a topic that is sure to fascinate and entertain even the most discerning reader.
