R. Keith Harris, the son of Ron and Linda Harris, was born in Tennessee and spent his formative years in North Carolina. His fascination with the world of acting began at the tender age of nine, and this passion never wavered throughout his life. As he grew older, Keith's dedication to his craft only intensified, ultimately leading him to carve out a remarkable career as both an actor and writer.
Keith's academic pursuits were equally impressive, as he earned a Bachelor of Science in Radio and Television Production and Theatre from Western Carolina University, and later, a Master of Fine Arts in Acting with a concentration in Film from UNC-Greensboro.
During his time at graduate school, Keith's talent and perseverance were recognized at the Southeastern Theater Conference, where he was one of only 16 individuals to be selected to compete in the prestigious Irene Ryan scholarship competition at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. His outstanding performance earned him one of the three scholarship awards, and he was subsequently invited to study stage combat with the esteemed Society Of American Fight Directors.
Throughout his illustrious career, Keith's versatility and tenacity have enabled him to take on a wide range of roles. With an impressive 70 film and television credits to his name, he has shared the screen with some of Hollywood's most renowned actors, including Robert Redford, Emma Thompson, Burt Reynolds, Mickey Rooney, and many more.
