Richard Lyntton, born Richard Bramford, was welcomed into the world at Whittington Hospital, nestled in the heart of Highgate, London, and is of English descent. His early years were spent in the charming Primrose Hill, North London, where he was raised surrounded by the city's vibrant energy.
As a young student, Richard attended William Ellis Grammar School, where he laid the foundation for his future academic pursuits. His thirst for knowledge led him to Exeter University, where he further honed his intellectual skills.
Before embarking on his acting career, Richard served his country as a Captain and tank commander in the British Army, participating in the Gulf War 1, Bosnia, and Russia. This experience undoubtedly instilled in him a sense of discipline and resilience.
After completing his military service, Richard pursued his passion for the performing arts, graduating from Mountview Theater School (Mountview Academy of Theater Arts) in 1998. His first foray into the world of theatre saw him take on various roles, including A Midsummer Night's Dream (1998),Techno-Frantic Love (1999),Men Without Shadows (2000),Inherit the Wind (1999),Bless the Bride (1999),and Indian Ink (2002).
As his acting career gained momentum, Richard began to appear in film and television roles, starting with Welcome to Sarajevo in 1997.
