Ryan Sage is a multi-talented individual who has made a name for himself in the world of film and television. He is an award-winning writer, producer, and director who has worked on a wide range of projects, from network promos to micro-budget filmmaking.
One of his most notable projects is the "Super Commercial" for The Voice, which aired during Super Bowl 52. This commercial was widely praised by critics and audiences alike, with Yahoo Sports, The Chicago Tribune, and Rolling Stone all naming it one of the best Super Bowl spots of the year. Ryan also worked closely with Spike Lee as his personal editor on a Network Brand spot that paid tribute to Prince and aired during the pre-game.
Ryan's feature film, "Temps," was a major success story in 2016. Despite its ultra-low budget, the film's trailer went viral, racking up more than 60 million views and becoming the most watched romantic comedy trailer on YouTube. The film itself became a chart-topping romantic comedy, hitting #1 on iTunes bestseller list in April of 2016 and peaking again in July as a top 5 Indie.
Ryan's first feature film, "A Big Love Story," was a romantic comedy that took home seven festival awards, including Breakout Filmmaker of the Year at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Throughout his 17-year career, Ryan has received numerous awards and nominations for his work in television marketing. He was awarded a Clio for his work on a This is Us trailer that launched season 2, and received a Clio nomination for his Will & Grace short film, which went viral on Facebook and gained more than 30 million views within 48 hours. He has also been honored with more than twenty major awards for his work in television marketing.
