Born and raised in the city of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Santino's earliest recollection of acting dates back to his first grade days when he was tasked with carrying a brown tempera-painted cardboard cutout of a donkey down a church aisle for a Christmas show, which sparked a lifelong passion for the craft.
He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from New Mexico State University, where he was honored with the prestigious Hershel Zohn Theatre Award for Overall Excellence. Following his graduation, Santino packed his suitcase, Cub's cap, and parka and relocated to Chicago, Illinois, a city known for its vibrant arts scene.
During his time in Chicago, Santino had the opportunity to perform at various esteemed venues, including Donny's Skybox-The Second City, Comedy Sports, and The Chicago Center for the Performing Arts. He was also an Artistic Associate with the all-Latino improvisation and sketch group, Salsation.
In pursuit of further artistic growth, Santino studied with renowned institutions such as The Second City, The Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade, and with esteemed instructors Leslye Levenson Kahn and Co.
Today, Santino resides in the City of Angels, Los Angeles, California, where he continues to nurture his passion for acting.
