Scott Winant, a two-time Emmy Award-winning director and producer, embarked on his illustrious career by producing and directing the highly acclaimed television series thirtysomething. This marked the beginning of a long list of notable productions, including the critically acclaimed series My So-Called Life, Earth 2, Cupid, Dead Like Me, Carnivàle, Huff, Californication, Men of a Certain Age, Save Me, and most recently, Good Girls Revolt for Amazon, Sacred Lies for Facebook Watch, and the Renée Zellweger limited-series, The Thing About Pam for NBC.
Throughout his career, Scott has demonstrated his versatility as a director, with over 100 hours of television under his belt. He has made significant contributions to various popular shows, such as Breaking Bad, True Blood, Fargo, The West Wing, The Shield, The Affair, Gypsy, Better Call Saul, and Yellowjackets.
In addition to his television work, Scott has also directed several feature films, including the Paramount production 'Til There Was You, starring Jeanne Tripplehorn and Sarah Jessica Parker, and produced the cult horror film, The Initiation.
Scott's numerous awards and nominations include nine Emmy nominations, a Golden Globe win, The Peabody Award, two DGA Nominations, the New York Film Festival award for best Director, and a People's Choice Award. He is a graduate of both the UCLA and USC schools of cinema.
