Sean-Ryan Petersen, a talented Latin American voice over and on-camera actor, was born in Los Angeles to parents Carolina Petersen and Christopher Petersen. Growing up in the vibrant areas of Santa Monica, Venice, and West LA, Sean-Ryan's early start in the entertainment industry began with several promotional spots at the tender age of six.
This led to his breakout role as the title character "Olly" in the PBS Sprouts series "Dive Olly Dive" in 2009, recording an impressive 52 episodes. His subsequent lead role as "Kevin" in the Martha Stewart-produced animated series and TV movies "Martha and Friends" further solidified his position in the industry.
Sean-Ryan's impressive resume includes voicing the "Blackbox" recorder/narrator for two seasons under the direction of acclaimed director Tony Valenzuela. He has also made guest appearances in live-action TV series, commercials, and ADR services for movies such as Angelina Jolie's "Unbroken", "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers", and "DC's Aquaman".
Currently, Sean-Ryan is working on a project he is deeply passionate about, playing the title character Valentino in Cartoon Network's newest hit series "Victor and Valentino".
Outside of his acting career, Sean-Ryan has a diverse range of interests, including anime, golf, playing the drums, electric cars, speaking Japanese, traveling the world, and playing video games with his big-little brother Conner-Ryan Petersen.
As a seasoned pro, Sean-Ryan has spoken at several prominent comic-cons, including San Diego Comic Con, New York Comic Con, and ISO Con. Interestingly, Sean-Ryan designed his first video game, a first-person shooter called "Egyptians Rise", at the age of nine, which debuted at a science fair in Venice, CA.
Throughout his career, Sean-Ryan has trained at esteemed institutions such as UCB Sunset, ZB Studios, and with Tony Gonzales of VO Kids, demonstrating his dedication to his craft.
