Sejal was born to a family of Indian descent, her parents having made the journey to the United States, specifically to the city of Flint, Michigan, where she would later call home.
Upon completing her high school education, Sejal went on to pursue her academic endeavors at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where she would earn not one, but two prestigious degrees. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree, a testament to her academic prowess, and also obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, solidifying her position as a skilled and knowledgeable dental professional.
Following a few years of practicing dentistry, Sejal made the bold decision to relocate to the bustling metropolis of New York City in the year 2002, marking the beginning of her foray into the world of acting. This significant career change would ultimately lead to a string of notable roles in feature films, television shows, and recurring characters.
Sejal's acting credits include notable appearances in the films Jack Of The Red Hearts (2014) and Boychoir (2014),as well as her work on the television shows The Following (2014) on FOX and The Michael J. Fox Show (2014) on NBC. Her recurring role as Tejal on NBC's Do No Harm (2013) further showcased her impressive acting abilities.
In addition to her impressive acting career, Sejal is also a highly accomplished Bharata Natyam dancer, having been trained in the art form since the tender age of six. This rich cultural heritage has undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping her identity and artistic expression.
