Mahadevan, a remarkable individual, emerged from the bustling metropolis of Chembur, Mumbai, his Tamil heritage tracing back to the picturesque town of Palakkad, Kerala. His formative years were characterized by an extraordinary affinity for music, which prompted him to embark on a journey of learning Hindustani classical and Carnatic music from a surprisingly young age.
