Sherry Cola is a multi-hyphenate talent who has emerged as one to watch in the entertainment industry. She has been named a "Fresh Face" at the world-renowned Laugh Factory and has demonstrated her versatility in scripted drama, comedy, and stand-up sets.
Cola can be seen starring in the Freeform series "Good Trouble," a spinoff of the hit show "The Fosters," as Alice, a first-generation Asian-American who manages the apartment complex where the main characters live. She has also recently wrapped production on the Untitled Drake Doremus Project opposite Shailene Woodley, Jamie Dornan, and Sebastian Stan.
Born in Shanghai, China, Cola moved to the United States with her family at the age of four and grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. She attended California State University Fullerton, where she majored in Entertainment and Tourism Studies and worked at the campus radio station Titan Radio.
Cola's radio career began at AMP Radio 97.1FM, where she worked in promotions, social media, and on-air hosting. She also created her own Sunday night show and interviewed top artists, including Noah Cyrus, Fifth Harmony, and Khalid.
In addition to her radio work, Cola is also an improv comedian and has created characters with friends around Los Angeles. One of her most notable characters is Lil' Tasty, a parody of a Lift/Uber driver who has received over 20 million views on Facebook.
Cola's television career began in 2017 with a seven-episode arc on Amazon's "I Love Dick" opposite Kevin Bacon and Kathryn Hahn. She has also worked on the comedy series "Safeword" for MTV and had a recurring role on the hit TNT series "Claws" opposite Niecy Nash, Carrie Preston, and Judy Reyes.
As a stand-up comedian, Cola performs regularly at The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and The Comedy Store. She has also worked with Kevin Hart's LOL Network and Funny or Die and has filmed an episode of "Funny Dance Show" for E! alongside Jackie Tohn, Solomon Georgio, and London Brown.
