New York-based actor Shunori hails from Bangalore, India, where her affinity for performing began with Indian classical dance. This artistic inclination continued to flourish during her time at Yale University, where she achieved a dual major in Political Science and Theater. Initially, Shunori's interests lay in global economic development, yet her passion for acting soon became undeniable, prompting her to relocate to New York after graduation to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Following a couple of years of refining her craft, Shunori started to secure roles on various TV shows, including Netflix's Gypsy, Law and Order: SVU, Master of None, and Chicago Med. Her on-screen presence was also showcased in films such as The Big Sick, where she played the character Sumera, and Jonathan, opposite Ansel Elgort, in which she portrayed Allison.
Recently, Shunori took on the role of Priya Khundi in the movie Worth, a true story based on the 9/11 Victim's Compensation Fund, alongside notable actors Michael Keaton, Amy Ryan, and Stanley Tucci. Worth premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020.
