Siraj Huda, a self-proclaimed accidental actor, was born in the culturally rich state of Orissa, India. Unconventional is an understatement when describing his journey to becoming an actor, as he took a path that was anything but traditional. Prior to pursuing his passion for acting, Siraj spent time milking cows in Nepal, a unique and unconventional experience that would later shape his perspective and inform his performances.
After leaving Nepal, Siraj traveled to Dubai where he taught ice skating, further broadening his horizons and developing skills that would serve him well in his future endeavors. His desire to continue his education led him to the United States, where he enrolled in an MBA program. Following his academic pursuits, Siraj relocated to New York City, where he worked in publishing and as a software engineer.
However, it was the recession of 2008 that ultimately led Siraj to discover his true calling in acting. With his varied life experiences and diverse skillset, Siraj was able to bring a unique perspective to his performances, allowing him to get under the skin of the characters he portrayed with remarkable ease.
