Terrence Mark Flack was born on October 23, 1965, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to Sarah Alice Flack and Elbert Marcus Alexander. As a young boy, he had a vivid imagination and often envisioned himself on the silver screen.
During his senior year at Bluefield High School, he enrolled in the Drama department and appeared in a series of plays, which further fueled his passion for acting. After graduating, he attended Marshall University and Bluefield State College, ultimately graduating in 1989.
Following college, Flack pursued acting full-time, taking on extra roles in film and regional theater productions in West Virginia, Florida, and Georgia. He worked with notable companies, including the Atlanta Shakespeare Company and Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.
In 1995, he made the decision to head west, and in 1996, he landed his first television role on the popular sitcom Married With Children. He went on to appear in numerous television shows, including Grey's Anatomy, Cold Case, Everybody Hates Chris, The Shield, Strong Medicine, and Criminal Minds, as well as American Crime Story: The People vs O.J. Simpson, where he played the role of a juror.
Flack has also made numerous commercial appearances, including advertisements for J.C. Penney, Time Warner Cable, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Visa, National Car Rental, Ford, A1, Boost Mobil, Direct TV, and Pepsi. He has had the privilege of working with renowned directors, such as Spike Lee, Peter Horton, and Cameron Crowe.
In addition to his television and commercial work, Flack has been a member of the Elephant Theater Company in Hollywood for nearly twenty years, appearing in several plays, including Suzin Lori-Park's "365 Plays;365 Days" and the critically acclaimed "One World" and "One Fell Swoop", written by Robert Litz.
Flack has also co-starred in several films, including Kings of The Evening, Jackie's Back, Girl In 3-D, and The Onion Movie. Furthermore, he wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the indie-feature film, The Legend of Black Annie.
On a personal level, Flack has a large family, consisting of four brothers, four sisters, and one son, Mateo. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
