Thomas Levin, a talented individual with a multifaceted career in the entertainment industry, was born in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He began his journey in acting, studying with Mr. David Gideon and at The William Esper Studio in NYC, and has since appeared in numerous stage productions, films, and television shows since 1998.
One of his most notable roles was as the journalist and anchorman "Ulrik Mørch" in the international hit TV-series Borgen, which he played for three seasons from 2010 to 2013.
As a writer, Thomas won the Danish "Reumert Prize" for "Best Playwright" in 2012 for his divorce-comedy "Peter And The Moose". He also made his directorial debut with the short film "Walter & Alma" in 2017, starring fellow Dane Kim Bodnia.
Thomas has also played the lead role as the police investigator "Tom Noack" in the Danish Noir Drama Norskov I and II, which has been shown internationally, earning him a nomination for a Robert (The Danish Film Academy) for his role.
He has had roles in the hit series "Strike Back" in 2019 and played a Mossad agent in the 2018 Scandi TV Thriller "Sthlm Requiem", based on the books by Kristina Ohlsson.
In 2020, the new "Alex Rider" TV series premiered on Amazon Prime, where Thomas plays the iconic character/villain Yassen Gregorovitch, and will also reprise this role in Alex Rider II in 2021.
In 2021, Thomas played the part as Karl in the Irish TV-drama "Smother", created by Kate O' Riordan for RTÉ and BBC Studios, and screened on Alibi.
He also played the role as the experienced narcotics cop Rolf in the new Danish police TV thriller Alfa/Grow, which premiered in Scandinavia in 2020.
In addition to his acting work, Thomas wrote and directed the short film "Carl & the Janitor" in 2021, as part of a number of short films about the pandemic in connection with "Doctors without Borders".
Thomas is married to Danish actress Laura Christensen and they have two children.
