Trish Doolan is a multifaceted and accomplished storyteller, boasting a diverse range of talents that include screenwriting, playwriting, directing, and acting. Her most recent film, April's Shower, garnered widespread acclaim, winning four best picture awards and receiving praise from esteemed publications such as The New York Times and The San Francisco Chronicle.
Born in Queens, New York, Trish grew up in a close-knit Italian family, which served as the inspiration for her debut novel, Me & Five Guys. This semi-autobiographical work explores her experiences coming of age, while her second novel, The Singing Gardener, is a timeless tale of forbidden love and the transformative power of following one's heart. Both novels are slated for adaptation into feature films.
Trish's early start in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of three, when she started acting and modeling. By the time she was 19, she had made the move to Los Angeles, where she established herself as a working actress, appearing in a range of commercials, television shows, and films.
In recent years, Trish has been busy working on various projects. She has just completed post-production on the pilot episode of The Bug in My Ear, which she wrote and directed, and stars Tony Sirico in the titular role. Additionally, she has finished producing the pilot Singled Out, in which she plays the lead character, Bri. Trish is also working on a play, Two Boys From Brooklyn, which is based on the true story of Oscar-winning composer Al Kasha and his Tony Award-winning brother, Larry Kasha, and is set to premiere on Broadway.
