Ushan Çakir, a renowned Turkish actor, was born in Istanbul, Turkey. This was followed by a romantic tale, Long Story, directed by Osman Sinav, an explicit comedy-noir, Extremely Tragic Story of Celal Tan and His Family, directed by Onur Unlu, and a co-production between Turkey and Ukraine, Sense of Sex (Lubi Mene),directed by Bahadir Er and Maryna Gorbach. For his outstanding performance in Sense of Sex, Çakir won the Best Actor award at the 20th International Odessa Film Festival.
