Zach was born in Lakewood, Ohio, a place where his innate desire to perform first began to take shape. During a family trip to California, his parents unwittingly played a crucial role in his future success when they stumbled upon a casting agent, Fern Orenstein, who was so impressed with his talent that she arranged meetings with several top child agencies in Los Angeles. This serendipitous encounter led to Zach signing with The Savage Agency, a move that ultimately prompted his family to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for acting.
Within a remarkably short span of two months, Zach had already secured not one, not two, but three significant roles: two commercials and a costar position on the hit TV show Scrubs. This breakthrough marked the beginning of a long and illustrious career, during which he would go on to work alongside some of the most renowned stars in Hollywood, including Adrien Brody, Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Stanley Tucci, and Abigail Breslin.
The Chicago Tribune would later hail Zach as a "jug-eared wonder" for his impressive performance in the film "Hollywoodland," while Wonderland Magazine featured him as one of the young actors expected to dominate the screen in 2008. Despite his growing fame and impressive credits, Zach remains humble and grounded, with a strong sense of what truly matters in life. When he's not working, you can find him indulging in his favorite hobbies, such as swimming, video games, family game nights, and – of course – receiving affectionate licks from the occasional Bull Dog.
