Skateboarder Eric Rivers and his friends, Dustin and Matt, embark on a last summer roadtrip to chase their dream of becoming professional skaters. They follow Jimmy Wilson's skate demo tour, hoping to get noticed by the legendary skater and join his renowned team. After getting rejected, they're told to keep skating, stay true to themselves, and eventually, they start their own skate team, reluctantly sponsored by Dustin's college fund. Along the way, they meet professional skaters, including Bam Margera and his crew, and grind handrails across America, determined to make a name for themselves in the skateboarding world.
