In a shocking twist, a comatose King Kong, who fell from the World Trade Center 10 years prior, requires a blood transfusion to receive an artificial heart. Just as hope seems lost, a female giant ape is discovered in the rainforest and brought to the US, allowing for the successful implantation of the artificial heart. However, Kong's sudden awakening and discovery of the female ape sets off a chain of events as he breaks free from his restraints.
