In the animated adventure "Over the Hedge," RJ, a resourceful raccoon, must return a stolen food cache to a vengeful bear named Vincent by repaying the debt in exactly one week. RJ finds an unlikely ally in Verne, a wise and determined tortoise, who leads an animal family in their quest to reclaim their stolen food from the suburbs. However, their efforts are threatened by a human exterminator hired by a woman who is determined to eliminate the animal family from her yard.
