In Hindu India, there are many gods, including Yama, the God of death. Yama is asked to bring the lifeless body of a rich Indian named Aditya to the afterlife. On the way, Aditya's soul begs Yama to set him free and bring him back to life so he can finish his unfinished business. Yama refuses at first, but eventually gives Aditya a second chance, allowing him to live for a set period of time to resolve his problems before Yama takes his life again.
