Sixteen-year-old Lindsay Deerborne is not thrilled about spending Christmas with her family, preferring to ski with her friends instead. When she gets caught up in a conversation with Santa, he asks for her help in changing his image to restore the spark in his marriage to Mrs. Claus. Determined to prove her parents wrong about her selfish attitude, Lindsay gives Santa a makeover and is impressed by the old man's new look. Santa then asks Lindsay to help him out on Christmas Eve, delivering presents to all the sleeping children.
